Dr. Sadashiv S. O. [M. Sc. M. Phil. Ph. D. ] presently is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology Davangere University Davanagere Karnataka. He has completed M. Phil and Ph.D. in Microbiology from Karnatak University Dharwad Karnataka India. He has published various research articles in national and international peer reviewed journals and 6 book chapters 2 Books/Monographs and edited 4 books. He has secured two times Young Scientists Award one Gold Medal award for the research contributions in the field of Veterinary Microbiology from various academic organizations and also received Appreciation Award from Zoological Society of India (ZSI). He has participated and presented research paper in many conferences/ seminar/ workshop/ trainings at national and international levels. His thrust areas of research are Veterinary Microbiology DairyMicrobiology Environmental Microbiology and Food Technology. Dr. Sharangouda J. Patil [M.Sc. B.Ed. Ph.D. PDF] completed his Masters (II Rank) in Zoology subsequently he completed his Doctorate from Gulbarga University Gulbarga during 2007. Thereafter he has completed post-doctoral fellowship (PDF) in World Bank funded project in ICAR reputed National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology Bangalore. For his post-doctoral research Dr. Patil opted to work on livestock extension research extensively. His work involved field research as well as lab research. With his skills and techniques he was very useful for farmers. He has made major contributions in outreach programs of the institute for transfer of technology from lab to land. He also worked in software industry as a Subject Matter Expert of Zoology to develop a E-contents for UG and PG level of all the Karnataka state universities in 2016. During his teaching and research career he has published more than 56 research articles 5 book chapters 5 technical bulletins and several other technical articles in National and International peer reviewed journals. Currently he is working as Associate Professor in School of Sciences Department of Life Sciences Garden City University Bangalore from the 2017 onwards and has around 12 year teaching and research experience in the field of Zoology Genetics Biotechnology and Microbiology. Dr. Vishwanatha T. [M. Sc. M. Phil. Ph.D. ] is a focused microbiologist Assistant Professor in Maharanis Science College for Women Bangalore. He has an outstanding career with 14 years of teaching and research experience. He has obtained his Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy from Gulbarga University Karnataka. During his research has explored bacteriophage as a potential antimicrobial agent against the MDR strains of Staphylococcus aureus. Till now he has 27 publications and he secured several awards for presenting his papers at national and international level seminar and conferences. He has underwent many faculty development program and refresher courses. His main area of research is phage therapy.
