he was awarded a UNESCO fellowship and attended the UNESCO course in Limnology in the University of Vienna
Austria in 1976. He has been awarded a number of research projects by UGC. DOE
CSIR on river monitoring and reservoir Limnology. He has published over 60 research papers in reputed National and International journals. He has authored four books. He participatedand presented research papers in the International conference in 1988 in Brisbane
