Dr. P. Balasubramanian Teaching Assistant of Agronomy at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He has graduated in the agriculture (2013) from ADAC&RI TNAU Trichy had his master (2015) and Ph.D. Degree in Agronomy (2019) from AC&RI TNAU Madurai. His significant contributions are irrigation and nutrient management in groundnut crops. He has received more awards at national and international levels including Gold Medal Young Scientist Young Researcher and Best Doctoral Thesis etc. To his credit he has published research articles edited books popular articles and presented more than thirty papers in the conference seminar and summer training from various institutes. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (ASRB ICAR). Dr. C.R.Chinnamuthu Professor and Head Department of Agronomy Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore. He has graduated in Agriculture in1983 obtained Masters' Degree in Agronomy in 1985 with a specialization in weed science and completed Ph.D. in 1990 from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore India. He did his Post-Doctoral Research work at IRRI the Philippines between 1991 and 1994. He has vast experience in the field of nanotechnology applications in agriculture. He has established a state-of-the-art Nanotechnology Research Laboratory and pioneered research work in the field of nanotechnology applications in weed management. His significant contributions are rapid detoxification of atrazine herbicide residue management of purple nutsedge fabrication of slow and smart release nano-formulations for season-long weed control in a rainfed and irrigated ecosystem. He has worked in various capacities in TNAU for the past 28 years as Deputy Director of Research Professor IFFCO Chair Principle Investigator in Agroforestry Oilseed and Rice research projects. He guided thirteen PG and Ph.D. students and all of them were conferred with the best thesis and best paper awards for their outstanding contribution. He has received eighteen awards at national and international levels including Best Teacher and Best Researcher from TNAU and Young Scientist Award by APWSS. To his credit he has published sixty research articles edited three books in nanotechnology and presented more than seventy lead papers in the conference seminar and summer institutes.
